  • Stuart Merritt - Treasurer
  • Claire Richings - Secretary
  • Pamela Evans - Facilitator

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We held our last AGM and Conference on the 5th October 2009 and this year's theme was Friendships and Relationships. Over 80 people attended the event where we had drama and workshops looking at both the benefits and difficulties of relationships. Yvonne Boxall, Mark John Williams and Glayne Walker from All Wales People First helped us in discussions and Yvonne also gave feedback from the All Wales People First September Conference "Love Changes Everything".

One person commented "the Pembrokeshire People First Conference was interesting and relationships are a really important thing to talk about".

We are still working towards Pembrokeshire People First becoming an independent organisation and Sophie and Pam are working on funding bids to enable this to happen.

Pembrokeshire People First has been part of the Manifesto Campaign of All Wales People First. This states we have the right to:

  • Control our own lives
  • To speak up for ourselves
  • To respect
  • To personal growth
  • To the same activities, friendships and relationships
  • To choose how and where we live
  • To have good quality health care
  • To have good quality support
